Google Pixel 5 Review: Google recently released the Pixel 5, an update to their popular Pixel 4 model last year. The Pixel 5 follows the same basic design philosophy as its predecessor, but it features some significant new improvements that make it worth looking at.

Google Pixel 5 Review

Overall, I was impressed with what Google was able to do with the latest iteration of their flagship phone. They’ve done a great job streamlining their OS, creating an excellent hardware package, and adding unique features to set them apart from other phones on the market.

Even though it wasn’t my favorite device that I tried out, it is undoubtedly a solid choice. If you’re looking for an Android device with excellent performance but prefer something different from Samsung or iPhone, you must get neet to try Google’s Pixel 5.

Google Pixel 5 Design and Display

What stands out about Google Pixel 5 is its design. The metallic body of Pixel 5, with a notch at the top and bottom bezels, gives it a luxury look that every smartphone lover would love to have. Also, read – Google Pixelbook 12in Honest Review (Price & Performance)

Its attractive and straightforward design has won many hearts and gives a premium feel to users when they hold it in their hands. The display is an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors that gives a fantastic viewing experience to users with a high resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels at 440 ppi density. The display quality of Pixel 5 is second to none!

Google Pixel 5 Camera

The Google Pixel 5 Camera is a 12.2 MP Rear-Facing camera with an aperture of f/1.8. It is equipped with phase detection autofocus, laser detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, and HDR+ technology.

On its front side, it comes with an 8 MP sensor; on its back, it has a 12.2 MP sensor equipped with phase detection autofocus, laser detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, and HDR+ technology;

The rear camera has a 4K video recording capability at 30 fps. The front-facing camera does 1080p video recording at 30 fps.

Google Pixel 5 Battery Life

The most significant benefit of Google’s Pixel 5 is its class-leading battery life. It has a 6.25-inch AMOLED display and a 3,750mAh battery, and this means it will last for well over 12 hours on a single charge!

You’ll also get fast charging capabilities with up to 10W wireless charging, so you can top up in an hour or two when you need to. The only big downside is that fast charging doesn’t work when streaming video, so you may constantly deal with battery anxiety. Also, read – Search Google or Type a URL Which One is Best?

To fix that, always keep your phone topped up! You should always carry around an extra power bank anyway – these have never been more useful than they are today!

Google Pixel 5 Software

Google’s Pixel phones have been good in our experience, but there are plenty of reasons to look elsewhere for software. From a shortage of third-party software options to a recent security vulnerability, some customers will be better served by a different phone.

Google Pixel 5 Durability

The Pixel 5 is made of high-quality materials that give it durability, but some have complained about their paint chipping or scratching easily. Keep in mind that the Pixel 5 is a small, compact device.

It’s less likely to get banged up by everyday wear and tear than bigger phones like the iPhone XS Max. Google offers a two-year warranty for Pixel devices, which gives you peace of mind.

Google Pixel 5 Performance

The Google Pixel 5 does not have excellent speed performance; most of that can be attributed to its use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, but there’s a bit more to it than that.

Most notably, because it uses Google’s light Android skin, it’s pretty bloated compared to other flagship phones like those running iOS 11 or Samsung Galaxy S8. This means you might see some extra latency in your interactions with apps like Snapchat, Instagram, or Facebook.

Google Pixel 5 Pros and Cons

Pixel 5 Pros and Cons is a mixed bag and includes upsides like fingerprint sensor and downside glitches like no headphone jack. Many users love Google Pixel 5 because of its excellent performance on all tasks, while others are not happy with a few shortcomings.
